There's a fine line between mystery and just lying. When you mystify, you're illuding to the mystifee that there's something worth uncovering under the heavy shroud of smoke. If all you have is cobwebs and a basement full of jelly jars with the little screws in 'em, well, everybody has that, so don't invite me over anymore.
It's really lovely and has a nice bite to it. Thanks for taking the time to share
ReplyDeleteThank you for the taste, Brian. You and Ian have my musical heart. I am so excited to see where you guys go with this; it's going to be a game changer for sure.
ReplyDeleteI love you.

ReplyDeleteYour voices rejoice my heart. There's so much broken beauty in your lines. It sounds like the cover looks and feels like - a monochrome picture, pure, shadowy, togehter facing one another...
ReplyDeletemy brother and i got into a long discussion as to what the meaning of black betty was, and we surfaced quite a few. what does black betty mean to you? or which are you referring, i guess is more appropriate.
